Office Tour

Robert B Wilson, MD

Piedmont Interventional Pain Care is pleased to announce that our medical director, Dr. Robert B. Wilson, II, earned his maintenance certifications in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Serving the greater Rowan, Charlotte, and Triad regions for over 15 years, Dr. Wilson has always maintained his board certifications in both specialties out of a commitment to the discipline and field of anesthesiology, its subspecialty of pain management, as well as the patients he serves.

The American Board of Anesthesiology defines an anesthesiologist who specializes in Pain Medicine diagnoses and treats patients experiencing problems with acute or chronic pain, or pain related to cancer, in both hospital and outpatient settings and coordinates care needs with other specialists.

The American Board of Medical Specialties states that board certification provides a structured process for doctors to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in their chosen specialty. Physicians demonstrate their commitment to practice at the top of their profession and delivering high-quality care to their patients. (American Board of Medical Specialties)

Dr. Wilson’s recertifications are active through the year 2030.
