MAY IS SKIN CANCER AWARENESS MONTH and serves as a reminder to make skincare a priority. As the largest organ of your body, the skin has exposure to UVA and UVB rays. Approximately 9500 people are diagnosed with skin cancer every day in the United States, making it the most common cancer. It is important to note that skin cancer can affect anyone – regardless of color. As dermatologists, we urge everyone to be proactive in protecting their skin.
