Congratulations to Paragon Surgical and Paragon Breast Care Surgeon Laura Hudson, MD, for her nomination by The Cabarrus Healthcare Foundation for the “Rising Star Physician Award.” This new award will be presented at the Foundation’s annual gala on April 27.
The Rising Star Physician Award has been created in combination with the Foundation and the Physician Leadership Council to be presented to a deserving physician. The nominees are chosen by their professional peers.
Nominees for this award are selected by specific criteria, including:
- Demonstrates leadership and service at Atrium Health.
- Supports the Cabarrus Healthcare Foundation with their time and talents
- Actively engaged in the local community that Atrium supports (including Cabarrus, Stanly, Rowan, and surrounding counties)
- Demonstrates clinical excellence and provides exemplary patient care
- Provides measurable contributions to clinical service at Atrium Health Cabarrus
- Is admired and respected by colleagues, patients, and staff
- Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions
- Commitment and enthusiasm for the advancement of healthcare in our community
